Who We Are
Alkali Health Trust is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes in underserved communities across Nigeria.
We believe that lasting change begins with compassion, community, and consistent care. Guided by these values, we deliver community-based health programmes, raise awareness on critical health issues, and empower families with the knowledge and resources they need to lead healthier lives.
Our Key Programmes or Health Initiatives That Change Lives
Sickle Cell Prophylaxis
Nigeria carries the highest global burden of sickle cell disease. Our programme provides children with life-saving medications, regular tests, and health education for families helping them live healthier, fuller lives.
Diabetes Outreach
Diabetes is rising rapidly in Nigeria, often going undetected until complications occur. Our outreach will focus on prevention through lifestyle education, early detection, and affordable management.
Heart Health Initiative
Cardiovascular diseases are among the leading causes of premature death. Through awareness, prevention, and community screenings, we are working to protect more families and promote healthier living.
